Cold chain monitoring

Your cold chain, always in view.

Friolink measures the temperature of your refrigerators, cold rooms, freezers and trucks, validates every reading and alerts the right person before any product is lost.

Independent monitoring · read-only

How it works

From the sensor to your phone, with no blind spots.

Every reading travels encrypted to two data centers, gets validated and is stored. Try the three scenarios that worry people most.

All good. Readings are reaching both data centers.

Two paths for every reading

The sensor sends each reading to both data centers. Validation discards the duplicate and stores a single copy.

Security

If the system that runs your refrigeration also runs your alarms, one attack leaves you blind.

Friolink measures the actual temperature with its own sensors, cannot touch your equipment and alerts you even when the controller says everything is fine.

October 2026 · Europe

Supermarkets in six countries, with their refrigerators heated on purpose.

On the night of October 11 to 12, 2026, attackers targeted internet-exposed Danfoss AK-SM800 and AK-SC355 refrigeration controllers in hundreds of supermarkets in France and five other countries, including Intermarché, Carrefour, Coopérative U, Monoprix and E.Leclerc stores. They forced defrost cycles, with temperatures reaching about 50 °C, and stretched the cycle so the controller's own alarms fired late.

“The alarm cannot depend on the same equipment that is under attack.”
  • Read-only

Friolink measures and alerts. It does not turn compressors or controllers on or off, or change their settings. Even if someone got in, there would be nothing to reach your refrigeration with.

  • Our own sensors

Temperature comes from an independent probe. If the controller reports false data, the real reading exposes it.

  • Per-device credentials

Every sensor and gateway has its own key. If one is compromised, only that key is revoked. The rest keep working.

  • Fully encrypted

Data travels with end-to-end TLS, and web access goes through Cloudflare.

  • Two data centers

Each device reports to both data centers. If one goes down, the other stores the data and resends it.

  • Validated data

Open or shorted probes are detected, duplicates are discarded and impossible values are rejected.

Smart alerts

Rules that understand how your team works.

You build each alert like a filter: when it triggers, what excuses it, what hours it applies to and who gets notified at each step.

Kiosk

All your equipment, on one screen.

Put a TV or a TV box in the office, the kitchen or the warehouse and watch every sensor live. What is fine stays out of the way. What fails stands out.

Prediction and AI

It learns how each unit works.

Every refrigerator has its own rhythm. Friolink learns it and alerts you when something changes, before the temperature goes out of range.

Usual cyclesCycles are getting longer
Compressor cycles of a single unit. Demo.
  • Compressor cycles

It measures how long the unit takes to cool down and how long it rests. If cycles get longer, something is wearing out.

  • Schedules and usage

It tells the morning restock apart from a door left ajar overnight.

  • Power consumption

With energy meters, it cross-checks consumption and temperature. More power for the same cooling is an early warning sign.

  • Anomalies

It flags behavior that doesn't match the unit's history, even while it is still within range.

To predict failures, the models learn from temperature and operating data anonymized across customers. Personal data and business information are never shared.

Integrations

It connects to what you already have.

Friolink takes data from the controllers of the leading brands through a bridge and combines it with its own sensors. Always read-only, no equipment changes.

FAQ

What people ask before getting started.

Do I need to replace my equipment or controllers?

No. Friolink reads the controllers you already have (for example KMC over BACnet, and Carel, Danfoss, Dixell or Full Gauge on request) or adds its own sensors. Always read-only: it never changes your equipment settings.

How am I alerted when something goes wrong?

Through the app, email, Telegram and WhatsApp. If nobody responds, the alert escalates on its own: from the person in charge to the technician and on to the monitoring center. You set the timing and channels with custom rules.

What if the internet or power goes down?

Readings are stored on site and sent as soon as the connection returns, with no gaps in the record. Every reading is also validated in two data centers.

Is it suitable for health inspections?

Yes. It produces compliance records and reports per period, with minimum, maximum, time in range, excursions and who handled each alarm, designed for HACCP, GDP and 21 CFR Part 11 workflows. Compliance also depends on each company's own procedures.

Can I see everything on a screen in the warehouse or kitchen?

Yes. Friolink TV turns any TV into a live board with temperature, humidity and door status, managed remotely from the web.

How do you predict a failure?

We learn how each unit works (compressor cycles, recovery after door openings, temperature drift) and compare it with similar units, using only anonymized temperature and operating data.

Can I use it from any country?

Yes. Friolink is a cloud platform and works in any country, in English, Spanish, Portuguese and French. It connects to the controllers you already have or to our sensors, with remote support.

How much does it cost?

It is a monthly subscription based on the number of units and connection type. Tell us what you need and we will send a proposal within one business day.
